Newsarama has information from LucasArts about Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels. The game will be released during the holiday season. The biggest feature of this game will be the wiimote controlled LightSaber. The game itself will take place during the clone wars era which mean we won’t see Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader.
Matt Peckham from PC World makes a good argument as to why the Wii scores lower than the XBox and PS3. His argument is that the games for the other two systems are better than the Wii games. He may have a point considering that although the Wii sells more units then the other two, Microsoft sells more software. Its an interesting read so check it out.
If your using the Wii as a workout , Wii-hab , or just playing it for fun you know how sore your muscles can get the next day. Most people of course don’t want to admit it but it definitely happens. A TV news report is calling this soreness Wii-itis and they are recommending that you stretch before you play for a prolonged period of time.
I’m not sure I think people have to go out of their way to stretch before playing the Wii everytime but I suppose it depends on the person. I know I’ve felt sore playing some games, especially Wii-Tennis. Recent reports have stated that playing the Wii will not substitute a real workout, but doing something is still better than nothing at all.
As of today the Wii Fit release date has yet to be announced but has sold over 1 million units in Japan.
