Its not impossible to find a Wii, it just might take a lot of effort.   In England people are having such a hard time finding a NIntendo Wii that they are taking the Chunnel over to France to purchase their Wii’s.  Apparently there are many in stock there..   So if you live out that way take a little drive or see if one of your buddies are going out that way.

    Now in the US its become increasingly harder to find them anywhere, but every once in a while I hear from someone saying that they were in some random store in MA or Las Vegas for example and that there were stacks of them. 

        So if your really desperate for a Wii…  Maybe you can try to call some locations that you wouldn’t normally consider, give yourself an hour or two driving radius and make some phone calls to various stores.  You might luck out and it shouldn’t cost you any more than the 30min or so to call the stores before you drive over.
